Interview:

✧What was the inspiration of the game? What made your team decide to make this game specifically?

We want to have an experience that is coorperative while allows independent decision making at the same time.

✧Were there difficult moments when developing the game? What led to those difficult moments? What did you learn from it?

The conflict between the realistic constraints of physical components and the ideal design of customized dice posed a significant challenge for us. Initially, we wanted to use detachable faces to enable customization. Although the manufacturing iterations produced successful prototypes, we encountered a major issue when we realized that the minimum number of small dice faces required to incorporate the mechanics was impractically high. This experience taught us the importance of considering potential manufacturing issues right from the start of the design process.

✧Were there darlings that you had to kill? What were they? Why was the decision made to remove them from the project, and what were the reasons that you like the darling so much?

For the final stage, due to time constraints, we decided to suspend the theme of historical philosophy. Although one of us saw potential in exploring rhetoric through board games and wanted to use our thesis project for this experiment, we ultimately chose to prioritize meeting our deadline over pursuing this ideal experiment.

✧Talk about your teammates! What was everyone’s role?
