Interview:
✧In one or two sentences, what is your game about?
An infinite 2D snowboarding game where you must avoid obstacles on your path while reaching the highest amount of points determined by speed and distance traveled!
✧What was the inspiration of the game? What made your team decide to make this game specifically?
We were inspired by OutRun, Sega’s arcade racing game, but we also took inspiration from Ubisoft's Steep and the modern Oregon Trail game for the feel and aesthetics.
✧Were there difficult moments when developing the game? What led to those difficult moments? What did you learn from it?
We encountered a ton of issues with GitHub and Sourcetree, merge conflicts and weird bugs took up a lot of our time and hindered development. In dealing with our Git issues, we learned to communicate much better and also how to navigate future Git conflicts.
