Interview:
✧In one or two sentences, what is your game about?
A life-affirming kafkaesque odyssey.
✧What was the inspiration of the game? What made your team decide to make this game specifically?
We were inspired by things including Anthology of the Killer, Oikospiel: Book 1, Walk On: The Night is Short Girl, Boku no Natsuyasumi 2, The Metamorphosis, Dark Crystal, Grey's Anatomy, and Animorphs. We decided to make this game as an attempt to discover a playful process of collaborative game-creation.
✧Were there difficult moments when developing the game? What led to those difficult moments? What did you learn from it?
Going into this, we wanted to have overlapping and shared roles in order to try different things and have fun throughout the crafting of our game. This was a learning process and required a lot of experimentation in terms of communication and assigning tasks. We learnt that friendship is magic.
✧Talk about your teammates! What was everyone’s role?
Nichole was the executive product management manager, Isabelle was the intimacy coordinator, Hatim was the pigeon wrangling consultant, Hanwen was our webmaster intern and social media assistant, and Biagi was the vocal coach.
