Interview:

✧What was the inspiration of the game? What made your team decide to make this game specifically?

At first, I want to break more conventions of 2d platformer games, but later on I have been inspired and fascinated by ecosystems in nature and those fish tanks people build to hold a bunch of organisms living together. So, the new direction is more about world building and connect all the organism together through bubbles.

✧Were there difficult moments when developing the game? What led to those difficult moments? What did you learn from it?

Learning how to teach and guide player through visual representation and cinematic is really fun but also challenging. A lot of the rules is not necessarily intuitive because the fantasy setting of the game. Gradually honing my skill of guiding players make me feel more in control of building the world and let it go.

✧Were there darlings that you had to kill? What were they? Why was the decision made to remove them from the project, and what were the reasons that you like the darling so much?

There are some fancy bubbles introduced very early stage, but I have to cut it because it is hard to explain their functionality. For practical reasons they need to be cut for now but I like the concept of those bubbles.

✧Talk about your teammates! What was everyone’s role?
